Bookstore

I led the visual facelift project of the bookstore designed by Alvar Aalto in 1969 and trained the management team on Aalto’s design principles. We studied construction-period photographs to identify elements we could reintroduce in a modern context and worked to restore parts of the original store space. I brought back Aalto’s 'Winter Garden' concept through green interior design.

The project was carried out in collaboration with Futurice.
